Rheem Debuts New 13-SEER Optimized Residential Package Units.

Rheem Manufacturing Company, Air Conditioning Division introduces its new lineup of Optimized 13-SEER Residential Package Products.  Available from Rheem distributors, these high-efficiency Residential Package Products are available in 2 through 4-ton models and combine durable, all-steel, low-profile cabinets with multiple contractor installation and service advantages. Models include the:

  • RRNA 13-SEER Gas/Electric Package Unit
  • RQNA 13-SEER Package Heat Pump
  • RSNA 13-SEER Package Air Conditioner

All models feature a smooth-line, easy-to-service cabinet design that blends attractive styling with features that significantly decrease the amount of time needed to install or service. The new lineup offers a many unique contractor-friendly options including features such as:

  • High and Low Pressure Control for refrigerant cycle control.
  • Low Ambient Control for operation at low outdoor temperatures.
  • Standard Louver Coil Protection for maximum coil protection from outdoor hazards and weather extremes.
  • Easily accessible blower section complete with slide-out blower. All models feature a system matched MultiFlex® coil with low static pressure drop and excellent cooling capacities
  • Easy service access that significantly decreases the access time and eliminates difficult and awkward reach angles.
  • Stainless Steel Heat Exchanger with a limited lifetime warranty in residential applications.

All models feature Copeland Scroll compressors offering maximum reliability, efficiency, and quiet operation. The RRNA, RQNA, and RSNA use many of the same parts and share the same cabinet size allowing for fewer parts to inventory including roof curb adaptors. Each model easily repels water from entering inside thanks to a one-piece top and access panels with weep holes that channels water run-off.
